Elmer Prinzing
ARMY
Elmer Prinzing was living at Yaphank when he enlisted in the Army on
April 24, 1918. Prinzing was born in Brooklyn and was 20 years old
when he enlisted.
Prinzing was assigned to the
Field Artillery at Camp Jackson until June 20, 1918 when he was
assigned to Company F, 2 Corps Artillery Pack where he served until
January 28, 1918. Prinzing also served with the 509th Motor Truck
Company and the 423 Supply train. He was sent overseas from July 10,
1918 to July 12, 1919.
Prinzing was made a Corporal
on June 19, 1918.
Prinzing was discharged from
the service on July 22, 1919. Upon returning from the service he
moved to Lebanon, Pennsylvania.
